About Loma Home Designs

Laura Olsen and Marianne Laughlin formed Loma Home Designs in April, 2005.  We are two sisters who have been nurtured by a creative family of entrepreneurs.  Together, we have over 35 years of experience in interior design and management.  As partners, we share a passion for artistic design that creates comfortable and peaceful living environments.

Laura Olsen:
After graduating from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design, Laura has developed a successful interior design career over the past 15 years.  She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  Her projects have ranged from small, individual rooms to comprehensive home designs--her intuitive ability to understand a client's specific design style and daily-living needs helps people enjoy their homes to the fullest.  Laura believes that interior design is a marriage of art and lifestyle, as well as a service she looks forward to providing for her many long-term clients.

Marianne Laughlin:
Marianne has managed a major trading firm at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 20 years.  Her intuitive organization, persistent attention to detail and proactive approach to developing solutions ensure that your project will be managed effectively.  Marianne combines a lifelong appreciation for art and design with an entrepreneurial spirit to inspire you to create the home you envision.
